Fried celeriac with rice

    Step 1

    Cook the celeriac cubes in a pan of boiling water for 10mins, drain and sprinkle with some salt and a pinch of thyme.

    Step 2

    For the marinade, mix together oil, soy sauce, lemon juice and sugar. Pour over the cooked celeriac cubes and leave to marinade for at least half an hour.

    Step 3

    Fry on a dry, non-stick pan, stirring, until golden. Serve with rice.
