Multiseed Wholemeal Bread



    Step 1

    Mix all ingredients together with a mixer using a dough hook attachment and knead for at least 5-10mins. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for at least an hour until the dough doubles in size. Alternatively, put all ingredients into a bread machine and select the dough program.

    Step 2

    Take the dough out of the bowl or bread maker, shape into a ball and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with some sunflower seeds, cover with a tea towel and leave in a warm place to rise again for 30-60mins.

    Step 3

    Transfer to a preheated oven and bake at 230°C(fan) for 10mins, then reduce the temperature to 180°C and bake for further 20-30mins. Leave to cool on a wire rack.
