    Step 1

    In a large bowl mix together minced beef, onion, egg, cornflour, grated potatoes, salt and pepper. Make 16 meatballs out of the mixture.

    Step 2

    Dip each meatball in cream and then coat in breadcrumbs.

    Step 3

    Preheat the oven to 220°C/fan 200°C and grease a baking tin.

    Step 4

    Transfer the meatballs into the baking tin and bake for 40-45 mins, turning occasionally.

    Step 5

    When the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the baking tin and set aside.

    Step 6

    To make the sauce put all the ingredients into a small pan and bring to the boil, stirring. Simmer for 2mins and pour over the meatballs to serve.
