Vegan Twix Bars

    Step 1

    Preheat oven to 180 degrees. For the biscuit base add coconut flour, 1 cup of melted coconut oil, 6 tbsp maple syrup into a large bowl mix well and press into a well lined baking tray, press down evenly and bake for roughly 7-8 minutes until edges start to brown.

    Step 2

    For the caramel add peanut butter, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup coconut oil, vanilla extract & pinch of salt into a saucepan and melt, stir until it forms into a caramel and pour over the biscuit base. Place the tray into the fridge until caramel sets.

    Step 3

    Melt the chocolate and pour it over the caramel layer and pop it back into the fridge until the chocolate is set. Slice it into Twix bars.
