Sponge cake with lemon drizzle

Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C and grease and line a base of 9½ inch round tin with baking paper.
Put the flour, sugar, cornflour and baking powder into a large bowl.
Add eggs, vanilla essence, oil and milk and mix until smooth.
Transfer to the prepared cake tin and bake for approx 45-50 mins or until a skewer inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean. Leave to cool and remove from the tin.
Put the lemon juice into a small bowl and keep adding icing sugar until the icing has a consistency of a syrup. Drizzle over the cake and serve.
