Pear and Walnut Cake

    Directions

    Step 1

    Put the egg yolks, sugar and oil in a bowl and beat until combined.

    Step 2

    Add flour, baking powder, cocoa, cinnamon and water and mix with an electric mixer for a few seconds until just combined.

    Step 3

    Cut the pears into small cubes and stir into the mixture together with walnuts and raisins.

    Step 4

    Finally beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold into the mixture.

    Step 5

    Pour into a lined 10x14’’ baking tin and bake at 180°C for approx. 25mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
