Mum’s chops

    Step 1

    Heat the oil in a frying pan, season the chops with salt and pepper and fry them for 8-10 mins until browned and cooked through. Then remove from the pan.

    Step 2

    Add flour to the pan, stir well and slowly pour in the stock stirring continuously, dissolving any lumps.

    Step 3

    Add soy sauce and simmer for 2 mins, then add butter and parsley.

    Step 4

    Return the chops to the pan, coat in the sauce and heat through.

    Step 5

    Serve with potato puree and some side salad.
