Moist banana bread




    Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C and grease and line a 2lb loaf tin.

    Step 2

    Put the flour with the baking powder into a bowl and rub in the butter.

    Step 3

    Stir in the sugar, then add eggs, mashed bananas and yoghurt and stir until combined.

    Step 4

    Stir in the chopped walnuts, transfer the mixture to the prepared tin and bake for about an hour or until a skewer inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
