Minced beef, potato and cabbage bake

    Step 1

    Boil the potatoes (leave the skin on), then peel and slice them.

    Step 2

    Heat the oil in a large pan, add onion and fry for 2-3 mins.

    Step 3

    Add garlic and minced beef, season with salt and pepper and fry for 5-6 mins, stirring frequently.

    Step 4

    Add oregano, tomatoes and ketchup and cook for 2-3 mins.

    Stir in the cabbage, cover and cook for another 20 mins (add a little bit of water if the mixture starts sticking to the bottom of the pan)

    Step 6

    Preheat the oven to 210°C/fan 190°C and grease an ovenproof dish.

    Step 7

    Arrange half of the cooked potato slices on the bottom of the dish, spread over the meat and cabbage mixture and cover with the remaining potato slices.

    Step 8

    Spread the creme fraiche on top, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for 20-30 mins.
