    Step 1

    Heat the oil in a large pan, add onion and beef and fry for a few minutes, stirring continuously, until there is no pink in the meat.

    Step 2

    Add paprika and flour, stir well and fry for another minute.

    Step 3

    Pour in the water and bring to the boil.

    Step 4

    Add potatoes, carrot, stock cubes, carraway seeds, garlic, marjoram, salt and pepper and simmer for 30 mins.

    Step 5

    Season to taste and serve with some crusty bread.
