Gnocchi and spinach bake

    Directions

    Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 210°C/fan 190°C.

    Step 2

    Cook gnocchi (or pasta) according to the instructions on pack.

    Step 3

    In the meantime heat a small deep pan and fry bacon bits for a few mins until crispy.

    Step 4

    Add garlic and cook for another minute.

    Step 5

    Pour in the cream, add spinach and cook on a low heat for 10 mins.

    Step 6

    Season the creamed spinach with salt and stir into the cooked gnocchi (or pasta).

    Step 7

    Transfer to a baking dish, top with grated cheese and bake for 10-15mins until the cheese is golden.
