    Step 1

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    2. To a bowl add the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Whisk together then mix in the vanilla extract, maple syrup, nut butter, and applesauce. Fold in the chopped apple.

    Step 3

    3. Scoop into cookies and place on the baking sheet. Flatten slightly. Bake for 10-12 minutes depending on size.
