Just like dessert for breakfast. A really nice warm winter breakfast. I used some soya unflavoured protein but if you don’t have any just replace it with more oats it won’t affect the flavour at all. I make my porridge with water but feel free to use milk if you prefer. Hope you enjoy.

Directions
Add all ingredients except 1/2 tbsp of maple syrup, some grated carrot and the walnuts to a saucepan.
Add as much water to make desired consistency. Cook on a medium heat for around 5/10 minutes until the oats are soft and carrot. Transfer into a bowl and add on the maple syrup you set aside, the walnuts and a little grated carrot. Enjoy
