Heat the oil in a deep pan, add the onion and fry, stirring, until it starts getting golden.
Pour in the water, add beans, spinach, potato, garlic and stock cube. Season with a little salt, cover and let it cook for about 20mins.
Puree with a stick blender, but not completely - leave some texture in.
Add nutritional yeast and cream, and if needed more water to achieve your desired consistency.
Season to taste and serve.
